Let us have brief account on the philosophy of Hussain in the day of Ashura.
Dear Readers,
Hosein in the day of ashura proved alot of wonderful things.
For example,
the personality of Zainab after Ashura showed that muslim women are as strong as the muslim men and at stages women are the leaders of the society as Zainab to be so.
Nextly, the day of Ashura proves that a Muslim should not die without any reason. Hosein did not need power and nor he was a greedy man, forexample, if you say that he fought for power then it is absolutely mistaken because you can see that hosein did not go for the war as he took his family wiht himself and no person who goes for takes his or her family with him or her self (you can see the wars of Mukhtar and Ubaidullah bin Zubair which were fought for the gain of power). And secondly if you say that it was a matter of arabic pride which hosein fought with the ummayyads to have the hashimites the winning ones, then remember that hosein aksed yazid not once but many times for the solution of the problem which were responded negatively, thus we can see that hosein was avoiding voilence from the very first day, and moreover, we can see that in the little army of hosein there were people from different tribes and nations, there were different arabic tribes, there were people of Iraq and even Joon was a negro from euthopia. So you can't say that it was family to family war (means war of banu hashim and banu ummaya) rather it was the holiest war of the history of humanity.
Many good things have been spoken by muslims intellectuals (not rowza koowans) through out the history. Like the very good discussions of Mr. Mothheri in Hamasayee hoseini and hussain warisee adam of SHaheed Dr. Ali Shariati and about the zeal of Hosein Iqbal has said also good points.
and in the old forum Mr. Dr. Abdi also explained some very good points about ashura, which I really liked.
BUt here I want to notify two very important points. which very little people have explained so far and they are.
1. The postponing of Hajj by Imam Hosein
and secondly
The unique sacrifice which differentiated Hosein's sacrifice from that of Jesus' one.
NOw see,
Hosein postpones Hajj before all the muslims of the world, which shows that if you don't have freedom of speech and freedom of thought and religious dictatorship is ruling over you, then nothing like hajj and namaz and roza and other things are essential but rather you have to fight for your right which has been taken from you
Adn the second thing is the difference b/w Hosein and Jesus is that Jesus died wihtout fighting for his life and his teaching was the teaching of a love which had no aim, but hosein died, but he fought for his life till the end and this is the most exciting thing in Hosein's feature.
