Just tell me, how would you feel if I call your father, mother, or your most beloved one a "stupid", "selfish", "self-centered" & an "ignorant" person?! I guess you wouldn't like it. Well, I love my Imams like a hundred times more than I love my parents. Don't you think that I was very offended by what you've said?! How do you pretend to be a wise preacher if you can't even control your temper?!?!?! If this is what you call wisdom, then all fools should be blessed!! Have you read the teachings of my imams?! Have you read the teachings of Imam Ali, have you read "Nahj Al Balagha"? Can you write a collection that?! Have you read his wise phrases?! Have you read the teachings of Imam Zein-Al-Abideen? Have you read the teachings of Imam Al-sadeq?! That what pure wisdom is. If you think that stupid and ignorant people can preach like that, then I would be blessed if I can become that stupd!!
First of all, my imams are humans, just like us. They were not born infallibles, but they've earned it!! They were very careful not to sin, they MADE themselves infallibles; and second, we don't show their faces in pictures because we don't know what they look like, and not out of shame!! And third, they were not prejudice! They were just proud of who they are!! They were the descendants of prophet Muhammad! He was their grandfather! Now tell me, how would a christian feel if Jesus was his/her grandfather? Wouldn't s/he feel very proud?! Besides, Khums is not paid out of SAVINGS MONEY!! (That's zakat, and that's 8%, and that's not paid to seyyad). You only pay Khums on precious things you own like gold, silver, etc... that you haven't used for a WHOLE year, and you also pay it on "Ghanaim"(the things that you collect from the enemies at war). One more thing, it is not required to pay the 20% khums to seyyad, but you can also pay it to the orphans, and to travelers who ran out of money.
I'm also wondering about what gave you the impression that my imams thought that the world is only thousands of years old?! That's ridiculous! I mean HELLO?! Only few prophets were mentioned in the Quran, and they were only thousands of years old, but God had sent 10,000 prophets, why?? Because the world was muuuuuch older than that!! By the way, God can't leave the world without a savior; I believe that Imam Mehdi & Jesus would return back to save us. I also believe that our benefit from Imam Mehdi's absence, is like our benefit from the sun while it's hidden behind the clouds!
And finally, I believe that Imam Hussein died for Islam. The caliph at that time, yazid, was a drunk, corrupt person, who knew nothing about islam! He was only focused on Haram pleasure. The whole nation was threatened at that time; prostitution, gambling, drinking, & killing was all going on among the sinful muslims. Imam Hussein's rebillion had one main purpose: to reform the nation of Islam, to guide the muslims to the right path. Besides, what kind of army, who had a "strong belief in Hijab & salat" would kill the grandson of their prophet; the son of Muhammad's only daughter??!! That army was just as corrupt as their caliph!! Imam Hussein died for the goodness of his nation, he died for its freedom, justice & its dignity (I agree with you on this point). I also agree with you that women in Iran, and in all the regions of the world, should have the choice on whether they want to wear a scarf or not. I mean prophet Muhammad wasn't chasing non-muslim women, asking them to cover their hair!! So please, don't say that people in Iran are doing that because of prophet Muhammad, or because of my imams! That's not true. And one last thing, please be nice & take into consideration the feelings of others, everytime you want to offend someone who did nothing wrong to you.
